Aemilius
***
NAME: Aemilius
NICKNAMES: Fortune Teller Lady (hehe, kids these days), Gypsy, Lady Fortune
GENDER: Female
AGE: Nineteen years
SPEICES: Shiny Gardevoir
ABILITY: Trace - copies the Ability of the current opponent, for all intents and purposes
HOME: No set home -- Nomadic
OCCUPATION: Fortune Teller/Gypsy
THEME SONG: The Other Promise
APPERANCE: Aemilius looks like your average Gardevoir. She has long, thin legs than are rarely seen because of the dress-like area surrounding it. Gott, I have beautiful description skills don't I? Heh. There are fin-like horns on her chest and back, and her eyes are still sparkling. Yes, yes. All in all, she looks like a normal Gardevoir at first glance. However, most have to take a double take in order to notice that she is white, orange, and blue instead of white, red, and green. Despite being a Shiny, her color actually makes her even more beautiful than the normal Gardevoir.
PERSONALITY: Aemilius is a rather level-headed Pokemon. She hates rushing into conclusions, and she will normally set out to gather evidence or to think about the situation. Her calm composure will often calm others down just by being around her. She kind of has that effect on people, you know? Just like her species, she is a very loyal Pokemon; however, she doesn't have set loyalties towards a single Pokemon. The whole 'you must choose a side' thing really isn't her way of life.
No, as a Gypsy, she travels around a lot. Aemilius doesn't have a home, and she probably never will. Being a Gardevoir does have its advantages. She is able to read the future clearly unless something is interferring with her powers. She can also clearly read another's emotions, thus allowing her to know when to back off a subject. Aemilius loves being a Fortune Teller and a Gypsy, but she absolutely hates it when power hungry Pokemon try to capture her so they know what is going to happen before it does. This happened once before, and let's just say said high ranked Pokemon got himself killed from trying to stop what Aemilius saw...

HISTORY: Aemilius comes from a line of Ralts evolutions that date back to before the humans disappeared, all of which were companions to a very wealthy family, and only that family. You could say that she is a purebred, for her family has decided to keep their blood going strong and never have it tainted, even without their old masters telling them what they can and cannot do. While the rest of her family is rather proper and never going against orders, like the rich snobs her decendents could easily be, you could say that Aemlilius is the rebel teenager.
She never liked how things were going, and her parents always kept her away from other children. They were afraid of her growing to love one of them--those of another species. Really, they should have just minded their own business. She never cared for romance as a child. While other female Pokemon in Fryst were dreaming about their 'Prince Charming' (eh, let's just say that the fairytales of the human world still exist...), she was off strengthening her psychic powers, even as a Ralts. When she turned two, she had already evolved into a Kirlia.
At the age of three, you could say that she already had her first crush. She may not have been wanting it, but things happen. Her first crush was on a slightly older Pokemon. He was a Machoke, age seven. Yes, she was going after older men. Who would have thought? The Machoke, however, always ignored her. She thought of it for being how young she looked (and was). Of course, a Kirlia does look like ten year old human girl in a tutu. Though, she didn't take in the fact that being a shiny Pokemon could easily cause someone to ignore her. After all, shinies weren't 'natural' in some eyes.
She continued to work on her psychic powers, hoping to evolve into the more mature looking Gardevoir. She never told her parents about her crush, but they pretty much inferred when she evolved at age five. They forbid her to leave the rundown house they lived in for a month. When she was finally allowed out... Let's just say that she has the worst timing in the world. She stumbled upon the Machoke trying to seduce some random Pokemon (he was kind of drunk, hehe). This broke her heart, so she ran after sending a burst of psychic energy at the fighting type. Ah, how fun.
At the age of seven, she came up with an idea to become a gypsy. Her father was instantly against this, and he did everything he could to keep her from leaving. Her mother, however, actually thought of it to be a good change of pace for her daughter. She allowed it, and her father soon did too after some 'convincing' from her mother. Eh, her father is actually still against it to this day.
Aemilius set out, easily finding a group of gypsies who were making camp in the Red Sky Plateaus. She easily fit in, and they instantly accepted her. Aemilius found that she had a natural talent for fortune telling and that it was even better than a normal Gardevoir's. She could see out farther than what one could normally do, meaning she could see things years into the future instead of just a month or so. Of course, she could never rival that of Aldste's power.
At the age of twelve, the band of gypsies were in the Eye of the Hurricane, AKA Elektricitet's headquarters. Some of the gypsies were dancing around, others playing instruments. Aemilius was giving fortunes to the Pokemon of Elektricitet when the General of Elektricitet came up to her. Like all customers, she gave him his fortune; however, he was a bit different. After getting his fortune, the Pokemon (he was an Electivire) ordered some of his men to collar her. They did as they were told, and a rather tight collar with thin barbs was placed around her neck. She tried to fight back, but the collar and a tug of the leash connecting to it forced her to coopperate.
She was dragged into a large building in which all the higher ups resided. Aemilius became the Electivire's personality fortune teller for three years, three years in which she wished never happened. Thankfully, the lage electric type didn't do anything to her, nor did he allow anyone to lay a hand on her. He somehow got into his head that tainting her would cloud her powers.
When the time for his first fortune to come true came, the Electivire's attempt to stop it (the fortune was a bad one) ended up with himself getting killed. Thank. Arceus. Now that her captor was dead, she was able to take the dreaded collar off without being zapped. She fled from the Elektricitet headquarters, only to find that she couldn't locate her gypsy crew. Quite tired from the last three years, she just hid in the Thunder Mountain Range until she felt the need to leave.
As the years passed, the wounds left from the collar became faint scars, barely noticable until you had amazing eye sight. She continued to wander around the territories, keeping to her gypsy ways. Of course, she was extra careful to never allow herself to be captured. On the times she would return to the abandoned farmlands, she would never go back home for fear of being scolded. This lead to her never knowing that her mother died and that she now has a little sister.
