Master Aldste was one of the most powerful Pokemon of his time, with a power that was said to rival that of Arceus. However, the old Alakazam also knew what others didn't. He was special, having the future-telling abilities like you would find in a Xatu. How this happened was beyond his trainer.
Master Aldste grew too old to continue on, and a fatal illness overtook him. Before he passed, a vision of the future appeared before him. He quickly told his trainer of the prophecy. Just afterward, he was dead, taken by a powerful, unknown illness.
"When the fire, ice, and electricity collide, a guardian shall awaken..."
A century has passed since then, and his words have been forgotten, a mere legend among story tellers. All was calm in the land of Pokemon, until that fateful day. Something set the humans off, and it instantly lead to a large war. With in two years, the entire human population was completely wiped off the face of the planet. Not even their remains are left, yet the war-torn ruins of their cities and towns are.
The Pokemon have learned to live without the humans once more, yet they lacked something. The three legendary bird trio formed a solution--divide the land into three seconds: Fryst, Brann, and Elektricitet, Swedish for Frozen, Fire, and Electricity. The Pokemon's loyalties were divided, and certain types were forced to be in a certain group. Unless, of course, they were gypsies.
Small battles over new territory occur quite often, but all seems well... For the time being, at least...
