If it says '______ Pokemon', then you must make a new character. For the markings and such, you can either have them randomly form on your character (the account that is paying for it) or make a new character. By the way, buying something here and then making a new character with that counts as buying an extra character in general.
NOTE: You can become in debt if you have a great character idea. You just cannot buy anything until said debt is repaid.
